Duke the King Dog (MDA-W002) is the royal member of the Whimsical Art Collection — a dignified, darling dog standing tall in his crimson ermine-trimmed cape and glittering crown, looking every inch the noble ruler he knows himself to be.
Duke is named after Dukeland — Mary Draper's beloved family farm in Tennessee, where dogs roam freely, art gets made, and every creature is treated like royalty. He's a made-up dog with a very real sense of self-importance, and he would not have it any other way.
